Hong Kong Family Trip (March 2017) Part 2 DISNEYLAND and Tsui Wah Restaurant

We planned our trip to Disneyland on our second day in Hong Kong. I was worried that since it was a Saturday, baka sobrang haba ng pila sa mga rides. But keri lang... the excitement took over na rin.

As I have mentioned in the first part of the Hong Kong family trip blog, the guesthouse where we stayed in offers discounted tickets to some attractions including Disneyland so we grabbed the opportunity. After we checked-in, we bought 3 adult tickets and 1 child ticket (since my eldest, Gabriel is already 12 so adult ticket na sya).

Because of jet-lag and namamahay din (excited lang siguro hahaha), I wasn't able to get a straight sleep. I woke up at about 5AM, everyone else was still snoozing, I took a shower and woke the boys up.

We started our day at Tsui Wah Restaurant which was just on the ground floor of the guesthouse we stayed in.

Tsui Wah Restaurant is a well-known chain of Cha chaan Teng (which literally means "tea restaurant") in Hong Kong.

We ordered two of their set breakfasts to share because we were not that hungry from what we had the night before.  Plano ko pa naman pakainin sila ng bongga for breakfast para makatipid ng food sa Disneyland (flop lang ang plan!).

Satay Beef with Instant Noodle Soup with Crispy Bun and Scrambled Eggs,
Tomato Soup Breakfast Set (Tomato Macaroni Soup with Beef, Scrambled Eggs and Ham (the crispy bun followed)
and
Milk Teas
We ordered additional Crispy Bun with Sweet Condensed Milk but my Miguel ate it as soon as it landed on our table (basta sweets talaga).

After having breakfast, derecho na agad sa MTR on our way to Disneyland.

OOTD muna daw si hubby hahaha...

Camouflage Bubble Vest from Bershka
Inner Black Shirt (IDK the brand)
Pants by Brunello Cucinelli
Air Jordan 6 Infrared
G-Shock Mudmaster Rescue Red

Yan ang husband ko, mas fashion-conscious talaga sya sakin. Well,  but that deserves a separate post. LOL.

As soon as we entered the gate, we went straight to Tomorrowland where the Iron Man Experience is located.
Ready for the Iron Man Experience
My youngest was so happy to see Iron Man in the flesh (well in the suit that is 😝).
unforgettable moment
Also met Chewbacca at the Star Wars Command Post
Rode the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters which obviously my husband enjoyed LOL

We watched the Jedi Training which my son did not join (umiral na pagkamahiyain), Miguel and I rode the Orbitron and the kids had churros.

Then punta na kami sa Fantasyland. We rode "Its A Small World" tapos nagutom na ulit ang mga bagets, By that time, it's afternoon na din naman. We spent almost 3 hours din sa Tomorrowland kasi nga boys, so dun yung trip nila.

So, we went to Clopins Festival of Foods. Sobrang dami na rin ng tao and it was difficult to get a table, we did not even got a chance to take some photos of what we ordered. Anyway, we had BBQ Pork and Marinated Chicken Leg with Rice Combo, Three Treasures Specialties  with Rice Combo and Prawn Fried Rice.

We did not explore Fantasyland that much since most of its attractions are for girls and small kids.

Then, we head off na to Toy Story Land, we only rode the "Toy Story Parachute Drop". Again, nakalimutan na naman mag picture. Tapos, we already went back to Main Street to wait for the Flights of Fantasy Parade. It actually started pouring, buti ambon lang.

After the parade, we went to Adventureland and saw the "Festival of the Lion King".

Then off to Grizzly Gulch. Too bad Miguel was not allowed to ride the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars as he did not reach the height limit. Crayola ang chikiting... kaya we just waited for Dad and Kuya and just goofed around the area na lang.

inuto na lang to stop crying
Next was Mystic Point, we went to the Mystic Manor.

Almost 7PM na rin when we finished at the Mystic Manor... so we went back na sa Main Street for the Paint the Night Parade, had some popcorn for snacks and stayed until the Fireworks.

Overall, the day was super FUN. We were not able to explore all the corners of Disneyland kasi the queue are long in all the attractions but we really enjoyed everything nonetheless.

It was past 9PM, when we arrived at Mong Kok to try some famous Hong Kong street food.

Deep Fried Pork Intestines and Curry Fish Balls
Beef Offal
Bacon Covered Hotdogs
Walked a few minutes at the Night Market and was supposed to go back to the guesthouse. We thought the street food we ate was enough but we were still hungry so we went back to Tsui Wah Restaurant for a late dinner.

Young Chow Fried Rice
Hainan Chicken Rice
Prawn Noodles with XO Sauce
Iced Lemon Tea (not in the picture)
With full tummies and tired feet... it was time to rest and get ready for our last full day in Hong Kong the following day.

Watch out for the Part 3 of our HK adventure on the next blog...
